Pet Health Alert: Leptospirosis

We have just diagnosed another case of Leptospirosis in our immediate area.

Leptospirosis is a serious bacterial disease that infects domestic animals, wildlife, and humans. It is a serious worldwide zoonotic disease, which means it is a disease that can be passed from animals to people, and vice versa.

Rodents, raccoons, skunks, opossums, cattle, and swine can all carry and spread Leptospirosis.

Annual vaccination for leptospirosis is an affordable means to help protect your dog from a disease than can be very costly to treat.
